TriJordan

Navigation & Routes

The route database has been split up into four categories based on the region. 1. The central region (encompassing Madaba & Fuheis), 2. Jordan valley (encompassing the Dead Sea & Ghor), 3. the northern region (starting from Balqa up to UmQais) and 4. the southern region (Tafileh, Petra, WadiRum, Aqaba). Please checkout all the types of routes as I will basically show you basic details such as distance, elevation, download link to upload gpx files onto your bike computer, and what each route is ideally used for in terms of training.

How to use GPX files?

GPX files are GPS exchange navigation files that can be downloaded onto your bike computers so you can access the maps while you are riding your bike. These files can be used in order to ensure that you have a safe ride and you don't get lost along the way. There are many way to import these rides and the most straightforward is to simply download the gpx file and import it manually and or you can connect apps like ride with gps to your bike computer. This is what I personally do with my Wahoo Element computer.
